Legend:

Give Dandy(Green) Money with D, give Tral(Orange) money with T. They will also generate money over time based on the territory they control. 

Black square upper left: City, important for making units and getting money. Often a target. 

Small brown square upper left: Mountain (Advantage to mountain units, harder for others to take).

Tiny pink and blue squares on the upper left: Fort (Harder to take)
